Successful GroundStar Users Conference in Stockholm

The Fifth GroundStar Users Conference took place in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. This was hosted by SAS Ground Services (SGS).

At the Clarion hotel in the heart of Stockholm a total of 220 participants took the opportunity to meet other GroundStar users, INFORM staff and its sales partners in order to exchange experiences and learn about new developments. There was a very multinational audience with a mixture of nationalities from five continents, as well as representatives from 43 different GroundStar customers. SGS provided INFORM with the necessary support for the organisation of the conference. SGS is a long-term GroundStar customer that has implemented major parts of the GroundStar suite as an integrated solution to optimise ground handling at its stations in Scandinavia.

Workshops were held by INFORM staff and partners, as well as GroundStar users. Topics for the workshops surrounded major developments within the GroundStar Suite, such as the Shift Pattern Generator, HubControl and the GroundStar Airport Operational Database, as well as new features and functionalities of other GroundStar modules and projects. GroundStar customers presented their view of the system and revealed their experiences with the system and how they use it.

Further customer workshops were held by Air New Zealand, Bologna Airport, Cologne Bonn Airport, DNATA, Fraport, GlobeGround Berlin and, of course, by the hosts, SGS.
