GS Rostering

GS Rostering supports the creation and maintenance of staff rosters with various methodologies (flexible rosters, pattern-based rosters or combinations of both) by matching the shift demands created by GS Planning. The system considers all the necessary information and constraints regarding the staff and their contracts. In order to assure that the right staff is planned at the right time, GS Rostering takes into account employee regulations, availability and preferences, qualifications, and planned and foreseeable absences (such as vacation, training, sick leave, etc). The on-line rule-check engine ensures that the given regulations are met or violations are highlighted and logged. Over- and under-coverage, referred to both quantity and qualifications is easily identified and corrected. Powerful time management tools control staff workload, time-off, absences, overtime and other factors permanently.

The WebRoster functionality of the system provides on-line access to the staff to procure information on their rosters, enter preferences, perform automatic shift trades and other functions.

Interfaces with Human Resources, Time & Attendance and Payroll systems ensure that GS Rostering is fully integrated with relevant external systems.
